THE SIX FOOT FLAG

The six-foot flag for Pride is part of a national campaign from TAXI for wireless provider Fido, encouraging us to stay connected during Pride. With Pride events being cancelled this summer due to Covid-19, Fido and TAXI found a way for people to celebrate while respecing physical distancing rules. The six-foot flag allows partners or friends to each grab a side and still be able to march their neighbourhoods safely at the appropriate distance.

This iteration of the Pride flag is the first example of how we can fill this new space between us with a message of hope. The flag reads "Together while apart" placed in a way that references the physical distancing realities we're all currently faced with.
